Machine Soul

DJ Cassy's debut is one conversation with artificial intelligence, start to finish. It opens with "Dear Machine", a late-night letter about who owns the future, and closes with "Thank You, Machine", the answer. In between is the world that answer describes: stadium soul, disco-house sunrises, a man who learns salsa from his vacuum, gospel house, and a graduation day for the species. Every song lands on people: a grandma, a daughter, a block.
